1 eaverdam & ouzie s hapel : wo mazing hurches, ne wesome od 2018 ssue 8 ear hurch amily, ecause you have little faith, he said. assure you that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, o from here to there, and it will go. here will be nothing that you can t do. atthew 17:20 e are now in the season of fall. t s hard to believe it s ctober already, it seems like yesterday we were celebrating the 4th of uly. really enjoy the fall season, the weather turning cooler, the colorful leaves and the way the sunlight shifts in the sky. find enjoyment in the way the angle of the sun changes and it brings a different since of lighting to all of creation. his change to me has a dramatic effect on the fall leaves. hope that you take the time this fall to connect with nature by admiring the fall colors and enjoy the cooler temperatures. ith the fall season comes our annual harge onference. harge onference is our meeting where we do the administrative work of the hurch. his year we will be holding a cluster conference like we have done for the last few years. e will be gathering for a time of worship with the folks from hiloh, enwood, t. ndrews and um pring. ur istrict uperintendent, Pete oon, will be preaching. hope that you can join us for an uplifting message and time of worship on ctober 21st at um pring. n addition to all of the other normal fall activities, this fall we will be having a worship series on the ook of ob. e are delving into those emotions that all of us have felt at one time or another along our faith journey. e will be exploring how ob s journey took him though the process of being disoriented by what was happening to him. ow ob felt deserted by od since he was having trouble at seeing and feeling od s presence in his life. hen we will hear from od and see how ob is restored in his relationship with od. t will be an exciting journey that hope you will join us for in orship.
