2 Matw 9:1-31 Literal English Translation Matw Chapters 5-25 The Public Ministry of Christ Matw Chapters 8-9 The Ministry of Authority of Christ Matw 9:1-8 The Healing of Paralytic Matw 9:1 The Circumstance (1) And when He entered into boat, He crossed over and came into His own city. Matw 9:2 The Cleansing (2) And, Look! They were bringing to Him a paralytic having been laid upon a cot. And when Jesus saw ir faith, He said to paralytic, Have courage, child. Your sins have been forgiven you. Matw 9:3 The Conflict (3) And, look, some of scribes said in mselves, This man is blaspheming. Matw 9:4-5 The Confrontation (4) And when Jesus perceived ir thoughts, He said, Why do you think evil in your hearts? (5) For which is easier, to say, Your sins have been forgiven, or to say, Rise up and walk?

(7) And after having risen up, he went away into his house. Matw 9:8 The Conclusion (8) And when crowds saw, y marveled, and y glorified God, One Who had given such authority to realm of men. Matw 9:11 The Challenge (11) And having seen this, Pharisees said to His disciples, Why is your teacher eating with tax collectors and sinners? Matw 9:12-13 The Correction (12) and when Jesus heard, He said to m, The ones being healthy have no need of a physician, but ones having illness. (13) But when you go, learn what this means, I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I did not come to call righteous ones, but sinners to repentance. Matw 9:14-17 The Teaching on Wedding, Cloth and Wineskins Matw 9:14 The Circumstance (14) Then disciples of John come near to Him, saying, Why do we ourselves and Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?

But days will come whenever bridegroom should be taken from m, and n y will fast. Matw 9:16 The Consideration of Cloth (16) But no one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth upon an old garment. For its fullness pulls away from garment, and a worse tear happens. Matw 9:17 The Consideration of Wineskins (17) Neir do y put new wine into old wineskins; orwise, wineskins are being torn, and wine is being poured out, and wineskins will be destroyed. But y put new wine into new wineskins, and both are being preserved toger.

6 Matw 9:1-26 Literal English Translation (continued) Matw 9:18-26 The Healing of Hemorrhaging Woman and Ruler's Daughter Matw 9:18-19 The First Circumstance (18) While He was speaking se things to m, Look, when one ruler came he was bowing down to Him, saying, My daughter just now died; but when you come lay Your hand upon her, and she will live. (19) And when Jesus rose up He followed him and His disciples. Matw 9:20-21 The Second Circumstance (20) And look, a woman hemorrhaging twelve years when she came near behind Him, she touched hem of His garment. (21) For she was saying in herself, If only I could touch His garment, I will be cured. Matw 9:22a The Command for Hemorrhaging Woman (22) But when Jesus turned and saw her, He said, have courage, daughter; Matw 9:22b The Cure for Hemorrhaging Woman your faith has cured you. And woman was cured from that hour.
