Foodbank National Tesco Collection Thursday 27 th to Saturday 29 th November 2014 There will be a collection of food for the Foodbank at Tesco (Princes Avenue) on Thursday 27 th, Friday 28 th and Saturday 29 th November Sacred Heart & St John Fisher churches will be co-ordinating the following times slots: Thursday 27 th November, 1.00pm to 3.00pm and Saturday 29 th November, 1.00pm to 3.00pm. We are looking for general volunteers (to hand out leaflets and answer queries from shoppers) and drivers to take donations to the Foodbank Warehouse. Please see the sign-up sheets at the back of the churches. Foodbank Anniversary Service A service to celebrate the anniversary of the opening of Southchurch Foodbank will be held next Sunday evening at Belle Vue Baptist Church. Refreshments will be served from 6.30pm, and the service begins at 7.00pm. Parish Consultative Council (PCC) Meeting The PCC meeting due to be held this Sunday has been postponed. My apologies. 2 First Holy Communion 2015 Applications Close Today This is for children in school year 3 and above. Application forms are now available in the porches. Before handing in the application form, you will need to attach the child s baptism certificate. If you do not have it, please obtain a duplicate from the parish of baptism. Coffee and Cake - St John Fisher Please join us in the hall today, after Mass, when we will be serving our home made cakes and sausage rolls accompanied with delicious filter coffee to raise funds for the parish CAFOD project. PG) Wednesday 12th November in the Sacred Heart Hall doors open at 6:30pm for a 7pm showing. Author P. J. Travers reflects on her childhood after reluctantly meeting with Walt Disney, who seeks to adapt her Mary Poppins books for the big screen. Starring Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks. Your genorsity helped us raise towards our CAFOD project of a Medical Centre for a small village in Sierra Leone. Your lovely comments are much appreciated the food supplied by the Ashiana Restaurant in Southchurch Road was delicious. CAFOD Project Committee.

Put the sparkle back into your Christmas shopping and let the coach take the strain door to door in an hour or less - enjoy all your high street favourites plus West End stores and boutiques enabling you to purchase those all-important stocking fillers relax in a restaurant or bar or even spend a couple of hours in the cinema enjoying the latest releases. 4 Exam Invigilators In Neighbouring Parishes and around the Diocese St Thomas More High School are looking for Exam Invigilators to assist the Examinations Officer in the supervision of students under exam conditions.
