4 Palm Sunday St. Michael Knights of Columbus 13th Annual Easter Egg Hunt! March 30th at 1pm at St. Michael Parish Center. Games and Prizes, Activities, Snacks, Easter Egg hunt and a visit from a Special Guest! For all St. Michael and Blessed Sacrament families with children grades 4 and under. Don t forget to bring your own basket or bag to collect Easter eggs! Easter Flowers for St. Michael Church will be supplied in part through generous donations given by parishioners in honor of living and deceased loved ones. If you wish to make such a memorial, please place your gift in the envelope found at the church entrances marked: Easter Flowers and complete the lower portion of the envelope, or complete the bottom portion of this box and place it in an envelope marked Easter Flowers. Your gift may be placed in the collection basket. All memorials will be published in the bulletin after Easter. An Easter flower donation to St. Michael Church in honor of: Requested by: Good Friday Collection. The annual Good Friday collection offers a direct link for parishioners to be witnesses of peace and to help protect the Holy Places. DIVINE MERCY NOVENA: In her diary, St. Faustina wrote that Jesus asked that the Feast of Divine Mercy be preceded by a nine-day Novena to the Divine Mercy which was to begin on Good Friday. Jesus further requested that On each day of the novena you will bring to My heart a different group of souls and you will immerse them in the Ocean of My Mercy By this novena I will grant every possible grace to souls. (Diary 1209, 796) *Please begin praying the Novena on Good Friday on your own and continue it on Holy Saturday and Easter. Then, on Easter Monday, April 1 st, thru Saturday, April 6 th, join others at 7 PM at Trinity Heights, where the Chaplet will be prayed in song, a reflection on Divine Mercy will be presented, and confession will be available. The evening will close with Benediction. All are welcome! (Novena pamphlets may be obtained at Trinity Heights or at the entrances to the Church). DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY CELEBRATION: April 7th, Blessed Sacrament Church. Beginning at 1:30 PM there will be Exposition and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and opportunity for Confession. At 3:00 PM, the Hour of Mercy, the Chaplet will be prayed in song followed by a homily delivered by Rev. David Hemann. The Divine Mercy Image will be blessed and venerated, and a Plenary Indulgence may be gained. The Sacred 1 st Class Relic of St. Faustina will be present. Devotions will close with Benediction and a reception will follow in the parish center. *Our Lord s promise regarding the Feast of Mercy: The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment.
