St. Joseph s Annual Fair-Thursday, July 28th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Rockwood Community Center There will be a Food Table, Raffles, Books, White Elephant Table and New Items. Sandwiches, Coffee and Donuts Donations are welcome! Those returnable beverage bottles and cans can be converted to cash for our Building Campaign. Either redeem them at the redemption center on Foss Street and tell them it is for Holy Family Church or bring them to Mass and leave them in the containers we have provided. 4 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 1 pm in the Rectory - Holy Family Ladies Guild- At each meeting the rosary is said for the conversion of our country, for our church, and for those on our parish prayer list. Tuesdays at 1:00 PM - St. Faustina Ladies Prayer Groupmeets to pray the Miraculous Medal Novena, the Liturgy of the Hours and the Rosary, Stations of the Cross or a Chaplet. We offer the prayers for family, friends or anyone who is in need of prayer. Please let us know if there is a special person that you would like us to add to our prayer basket. Knights of Columbus Jackman Council 2392 Monthly meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the St Faustina Church Hall. We will host a Rene Morin Senior Luncheon the 3rd Wednesday each month at 11:30am in St Faustina Church Hall and the doors will open at 11am. Calling all Altar Servers in the Diocese of Portland! Bring your families and join us for the first annual Altar Server Festival! Sunday, August 21st at St. Mary's in Augusta, ME. Festival Events: 2:00pm: Mass with Bishop Deeley with vested servers sitting together in choir. 3:15pm: Server Games! A fun competition where servers from parishes compete in various games that test their server prowess, including: server jeopardy, sanctuary hop scotch, vesting drill, candle lighting relay, and the reverent ring. 4:30pm: Family B.B.Q. dinner including hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, and other fixings. Who is invited: All altar servers of the Diocese of Portland with their parents or legal guardians and siblings. THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT. FOR SAFETY AND EMER- GENCY REASONS, A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST BE PRESENT ON CAMPUS TO WATCH OVER THEIR CHILD/CHILDREN FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EVENT. 5 WORKS OF MERCY Weekly suggestions for the faithful to consider: July 24: Visit a loved one in a nursing home or stop by an elderly relative or neighbor s home. Consider inviting the person out for an ice cream cone. If you are unable to travel, call or send a card. Registration Open for 2016 Harvest Ball 10th Annual Harvest Ball will be held on Friday, October 14, beginning at 6pm at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. A fundraiser for Harvest, the official magazine published by the Diocese of Portland. The ball is hosted by Bishop Robert P. Deeley.
