4 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 1 pm in the Rectory - Holy Family Ladies Guild- At each meeting the rosary is said for the conversion of our country, for our church, and for those on our parish prayer list. We are currently engaged in a 10 session scripture study: A Scriptural Journey with Mary - "My Soul Magnifies the Lord". Books may be purchased at the office. Tuesdays at 1:00 PM - St. Faustina Ladies Prayer Groupmeets to pray the Miraculous Medal Novena, the Liturgy of the Hours and the Rosary, Stations of the Cross or a Chaplet. We offer the prayers for family, friends or anyone who is in need of prayer. Please let us know if there is a special person that you would like us to add to our prayer basket. All ladies of the parish are welcome to join us even if you can't come every week. Knights of Columbus Jackman Council 2392 Monthly meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the St Faustina Church Hall. We will host a Rene Morin Senior Luncheon the 3rd Wednesday each month at 11:30am in St Faustina Church Hall and the doors will open at 11am. WORKS OF MERCY Weekly suggestions for the faithful to consider: April 17th: Do you know someone who is spiritually hungry? Keep an eye out for faithsharing groups or faith formaon opportunies in your parish and invite him or her to accompany you to one. April 24th: Is a family member, friend, or neighbor craving companionship? Invite them out to lunch. 5 Holy Year of Mercy Pilgrimage to Italy with Bishop Deeley In observance of the Holy Year of Mercy, Bishop Robert P. Deeley is pleased to announce that all are invited to join him on a pilgrimage to Italy in 2016 (Wednesday, October 19, to Friday, October 28). Pope Francis announced the extraordinary jubilee to highlight the Catholic Church s Mission to be a witness of mercy. The jubilee year will begin on December 8, 2015 (Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception and the 50th anniversary of the closing of the Second Vatican Council) and close on Nov. 20, 2016 (Solemnity of Christ the King). Bishop Deeley will celebrate daily Masses for the pilgrims, who will also travel to many historical locations and participate in once-in-a-lifetime experiences on the journey. The package includes roundtrip travel from Portland to Logan Airport in Boston; roundtrip airfare; hotel accommodations for eight nights; daily breakfast, five dinners, and a lunch; access to an English-speaking tour escort; and other amenities. The price of the pilgrimage (double/twin occupancy) is $4,367 which includes entrance fees to many locations.
