The Mass will be followed immediately with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, praying the Chaplet of the Holy Spirit and time for confession while the charismatic prayer service is in progress. Those who wish can approach the prayer teams to be prayed over by them. Silent prayer for peace, healing and reconciliation in the world is also encouraged. To Share Knowledge and Faith means informing and forming people in the Gospel principles which enable them to live in accord with their beliefs. The most urgent task today is to lead people to discover both their capacity to know the truth and their yearning for the ultimate and definitive meaning of life (Fides et Ratio #102). Weekly suggestion for the faithful to consider: Week of August 28: Gently reach out to someone who is struggling with their faith. Even if you can t answer all their questions, be a witness of God s love for them. 3 The 3rd Annual Parish Life Conference is being held on October 1st at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston. We begin the day with Mass with Bishop Deeley. Our keynote speakers are Peter Denio and ValLimar Jenson and there are 2 tracks of workshops with 11 workshops to choose from. If you re a catechist or work in youth ministry, adult faith formation or RCIA. If you re a volunteer, lector, Eucharistic minister, music minister, serve on the Parish Pastoral Council or are part of the parish staff, we have something for you!!
