The Knights of Columbus and the SFDS Women s Ministry, are outside the church doors offering beautiful Rose Bouquets for $5 each after the Vigil and morning Masses. Proceeds from this charitable Pro Life work will assist Riverside Life Services. This fund-raising and culture of life awareness campaign is coordinated throughout our Diocese by May Huber, of Pro Life Catholic Ministries. Yesterday morning, volunteers assemble 225 rose bouquets at Corpus Christi Church, in Corona; these are being sold to patrons this weekend in support of the Pro Life CONGRATULATIONS TO: A. Barragan Our Early Bird Parish Festival Raffle Ticket Winner! Tickets are still being sold for the drawing on May 20th. Don t forget to turn in your tickets for a chance to win one of the following prizes: 1st Prize $1000, 2nd Prize $500 and 3rd Prize $300, 4th & 5th $100 We are in need of donations: Can you please help by donating sodas, nacho chips and cheese for the Parish Festival nacho sale. We know many of you have beautiful voices, maybe you would consider joining the Choir? Please pray over it and call the office if interested or speak with Mary Fall after the Sunday morning Masses. SFDS Graduation Mass Sunday, June 10th at both the 9:00 AM (English) and 5:00 PM (Spanish) Masses St. Francis de Sales will celebrate it s annual Graduation Mass for our SFDS parish graduates! If you or someone you know will be graduating this year and would like to participate, please contact the parish office with the following information: Name of Graduate * School of Graduation * Certificate/ Diploma/Degree School they will be attending in the future Which Mass 9:00 AM or 5:00 PM Registration Early registration for the English Religious Education Program will be held on Sunday, May 20th, 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM, upstairs in room 5. We have classes from Kindergarten through High School. The cost is $100 for one child, $120 for two and $140 for three or more children. Only checks or cash will be accepted as payment. If you are paying in cash please bring exact change. New students will not be registered without a Baptism certificate. The Procession to follow after the 10:00 AM Mass only. There will not be a 5:00 PM Spanish Mass this Day. First we hear Luke s description of those events in the opening verses of the Acts of the Apostles. Next we hear words of encouragement and guidance from the Letter to the Ephesians. Finally we hear Mark s account of the Ascension, foretelling the mighty words and acts the Christian community would do in Jesus name. Together these scriptures give us a vision of the mission of the church of Jesus Christ a mission statement of sorts. Like mission statements in our parishes and corporations, this mission statement can help us set priorities and focus our activities.
