John 11:25-26 Dear Parishioners, Each year, we have a special Mass of Remembrance to give thanks for those we have lost during the past year. I would like to invite all in our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one this past year to a end this poignant Mass which will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 28 th. Moving through a me of loss can be difficult, lonely and sad. We want those who have experienced loss to know that as part of our Holy Infant family, we mourn with them. This Mass of Remembrance gives us an opportunity, as a spiritual family, to join together in prayer, to ask for healing, and to give thanks for the lives of those who have gone before us in faith. If you have lost a loved one this past year and would like to a end this Mass, we will prepare a candle for your loved one which will be presented at the end of this celebra on. The candle is a symbol of our bap sm into the resurrec on of Jesus Christ and is a reminder to us that we have the hope of eternal life. Please fill out the form at the end of this column with the name of your loved one and place it in the collec on basket or simply drop it by the Parish Office. If you are not able to a end, we will be happy to include the name of your loved one to be read during the Mass. Contact Doreen , or Marty The 2018 Red Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a recep on at Boland Hall. The Most Reverend Shawn McKnight, Bishop of Jefferson City, will serve as homilist for the Red Mass. The Red Mass is celebrated annually for judges, prosecutors, a orneys, law school professors and students, and government officials.
