I wish that I could adequately pass on all of the posi ve comments that I ve received on the beauty of our floors. Thanks, once again, to our Holy Infant Athle c Associa on who ini ated and completed this restora on project. Thanks to your efforts, our gym looks fantas c! Our Holy Infant Athle c Associa on, like our Men s Club, Knights of Columbus, St. Patrick s Day Commi ee, Parish Fes val Commi ee, the Shamrock Shuffle Commi ee and our Rummage Sale Commi ee periodically donate funds to help us undertake and complete capital improvements around our parish. Most of the funds from our Athle c Associa on are used to administer sports leagues for our parish and neighborhood children. There are literally thousands of children who, over the years, have par cipated in our parishsponsored sports programs. Some of the leagues that they sponsor are soccer, basketball and volleyball. They of course are a part of the larger C.Y.C. league. In addi on to paying officials, maintaining fields, buying equipment and uniforms, our Athle c Associa on provides scholarships for those athletes and their families who cannot afford entrance fees. Those entrance fees are really quite modest when compared to those of certain select athle c teams. They also provide scholarships for various high schools. All of these services are provided by a huge group of volunteers who do everything from selling concessions, coaching the teams, tending to uniforms and supplies, se ng up and tearing down for contests and many, many other tasks. One of the things I appreciate about the C.Y.C. is they welcome every level of player. One doesn't have to be a star to play. In addi on to giving the kids a chance to play a sport, our Athle c Associa on also helps to build community. Many of our coaches and parents become lifelong friends. We have been reading lately how in some athle c leagues parents have go en out of control a ending games. We always hold our own coaches, players, officials and parents to the highest standards of good sportsmanship, but it never hurts to remind us all that it is just a game a er all. We thank the many volunteers who make our parish sports teams possible. They do a great job for the community! God s blessings to you and your family,

VINCENT DE PAUL We recently were blessed by the Grace of God and the Stewardship provided by the Parish. Our family was in desperate need of financial assistance when we decided to reach out and ask for help. Within days, we were visited. Thanks to the Holy Infant community, our family was able to sleep without worrying about our electric being disconnected. We were able to have lunches for our boys and have a healthy dinner together. Thank you for your gifts. We promise to pay it forward. Our ministry brings concrete aid and comfort of the Gospel to those who are poor and suffering. 5 Holy Infant Basketball Sign-ups ON-LINE registra on is now open! For those wishing to sign up boys and girls in grades 3 to 8, go to and click on the Athle cs tab, then click on Register To Play. At the SI Play site, click on Register Online. Registra ons a er October 1 will be charged a LATE FEE of $25 per family. Registra on will close on October 12 at midnight. At our last drive in June, we donated 37 pints. This was much lower than average due to the heavy rain and closure of New Ballwin with a serious accident. In order to receive the Premier status for 2018, we need 23 pints of blood at our next mobile. Join us on Saturday, October 6 to help save a life! A reception will follow. Share the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe and promote respect for life by participating in this meaningful pilgrimage. The Silver Rose program demonstrates the unity between Knights of Columbus in Canada, the United States and Mexico, through a series of prayer services promoting the dignity of all human life and honoring Our Lady. Each year, from early March through mid-december, Silver Roses are stewarded by Knights of Columbus councils along routes from Canada to Mexico. Every stop the Silver Rose makes throughout the pilgrimage is a rosary-centered occasion for Knights, parishioners and community members to pray for respect for life, for the spiritual renewal of each nation, and for the advancement of the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
