At our last drive in June, we donated 37 pints. This was much lower than average due to the heavy rain and closure of New Ballwin with a serious accident. In order to receive the Premier status for 2018, we need 23 pints of blood at our next mobile. Join us on Saturday, October 6 to help save a life! Children's Liturgy of the Word is a great and rewarding way to get involved and we are in desperate need of leaders and assistants for the upcoming school year. CLOW is a unique and fun ministry which teaches the weekly gospel and message to children in first through fourth grade. CLOW is offered at the 4pm Sat. Mass and the at 8:30am, 10:15 am and noon Mass on Sun. No experience is necessary and all materials will be provided. All volunteers must be in compliance with the Protec ng God s Children Program. This is the perfect me to return to or try out weekly prayer with others, thanking God for what he is doing in our world, lives, and church, and asking for prayer for others, in our parish, homes, work places, neighborhoods. Contact Doreen , or Marty The 2018 Red Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a recep on at Boland Hall. The Most Reverend Shawn McKnight, Bishop of Jefferson City, will serve as homilist for the Red Mass. The Red Mass is celebrated annually for judges, prosecutors, a orneys, law school professors and students, and government officials. Through the Mass, the Church asks the guidance of the Holy Spirit for all who are servants of jus ce. Begun by King Louis IX, our Archdiocesan patron saint, in France in the 1300s, the Red Mass enjoys a long tradi on in our country. 9 Ministry of the Month: Stephen Ministry Wednesdays: September 27 to December p.m. Holy Infant If you are anyone you know is going through a separa on or recently divorced, plan to a end Divorce Care at Holy Infant star ng Sept 26 and las ng 13 weeks. Loneliness, anger, children and financial issues are some of the issues covered. It is a program facilitated by people who have been divorced and have experienced the pain of divorce but have healed and moved beyond it. The format is video, prayer and group support. Sessions are held at 7:00 in the Holy Infant Room.
