2 UMW CIRCLE MEETING UMW Circles will meet Tuesday, April 4 th at Old Town Hall Café at 11:00 a.m. YOUTH ACTIVITY April 7 th and 8 th, we are having a youth retreat called Unplugged open to all churches and all students, 6 th -12 th grade! We will have great speakers, worship, games, food, youth group time, and even a comedian! It's an overnight event, but it's okay if you are only able to come Friday or Saturday! (However, staying the night will be more fun!) It's $20 dollars for students to attend. For more information, please contact Andrew Davis, or ajdavis915@gmail.com. GRAPEVINE EXPERIENCE! United Methodist Women went to Lakeshore for a weekend retreat March Ladies attending were Martha Brasfield, Sandy Burgess, Nelda Connell, Doris Ann Gray, Sue Jones, Alice Morrison, Charlotte Quinley, Kathy Wallace, and Sherrie Wright. They enjoyed great fellowship and devotions, fun activities and crafts and lots of delicious food! If you missed Girls on the Go last month, you missed the Grapevine Experience. The Girls on the Go ladies enjoyed going to Arlington's Grapevine Tea Room. They each had a lovely lunch complete with small cheese biscuits. The lunch was a laughing good time with the sharing of ideas and concerns. We found gifts for friends and a pot pie to take home. The dessert of a warm cookie with ice cream and toppings had all the calories taken out. HA! HA! Come join us on April 20 th as we stay close to home by going to Olympic Steak and Pizza in Atoka. Meet us at 11:30 a.m. under the awning at the church or noon at the restaurant. CHILDREN S ACTIVITY Children and their parents are invited to Atoka Railroad Adventure for mini golf, April 23 rd at 1:30 p.m. The address is 110 Michael Ave., Atoka. For more information contact Casey Rogers, casey9128@hotmail.com or call EASTER CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED Please bring in your donations of Easter candy now through April 5 th. Boxes have been provided in the Christian Life Center and outside the Fellowship Hall or you may bring your donations to the church office. Thank you! 2
