We will mark the beginning of a new chapter of muic-making here and be inpired to erve a we continue to build a more beloved community on thi block and beyond. Thi community hine a a beacon for the redemptive love of Jeu Chrit who welcome all. My time here, albeit brief, ha given me a unique perpective on the parih muical life, pat and preent. A I continue my minitry here in a new role, I am fully cognizant of the aweome reponibility entruted to me. The legacy etablihed by Ray and Beth Chenault i no eay act to follow, yet it provide the foundation upon which we hall move forward. Grounded in the rich and centurie-old Anglican tradition, I enviion an All Saint muic minitry poied for expanion, not only within our regular liturgical life, but into the city and beyond. A our dedicated adult choir continue to expand it repertoire, ever triving for excellence in their muical leaderhip, we will be exploring way in which to create new enemble, both choral and intrumental, offering additional opportunitie for participation in the church muical life. Additionally, I am committed to finding way in which our muic program might partner with our other department in the church to benefit the life of thi community and the city. Collaboration will be the guiding principle of our hared minitry moving forward. I am delighted at the propect of working more cloely with Karol Kimmell, our brilliant and paionate Director of Youth and Children Muic, a we eek new way of empowering our children and youth to take on leaderhip role in worhip more regularly. I am thrilled to know that my friend and colleague Dr. Gile Brightwell will join Karol and me here at All Saint in February a Aociate Director of Muic. Gile i one of the finet liturgical organit I have ever heard, an exceptional choir trainer, and bring with him a wealth of experience and knowledge. I remain indebted to Interim Director of Muic, David Breninger, for hi friendhip and widom; moreover, I will treaure our final month together a a muic team. David Aldridge, Chair of the Finance Committee, joined u for dicuion regarding next year budget. The vetry paed a motion to form a tak force to tudy potential ource of additional income to be derived from ue of our facilitie. Dot Miller offered a meditation on what he ha gained from pilgrimage he ha taken with All Saint. Zack Nyein provided update on the progre of the Communication Tak Force and the Children and Youth Minitrie Tak Force Nancy Dodon and Johnathan Stanford provided an update on the IT Tak Force. Charlie Ogburn and Nancy Dodon reported that All Saint remain in ound financial condition. Simon reported that the teering committee to tudy future ue and development of the block ha been formed. Tranition Tranfer In Will and Jan Traynor from The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta Coming Up: continued from page 6 Welcoming the Stranger We re excited to welcome Matthew Soeren, the US Director of Church Mobilization for World Relief, which i the humanitarian arm of the National Aociation of Evangelical. In that role, he help churche undertand the realitie of refugee and repond in accordance with biblical value. He i alo the author of two book, Welcoming the Stranger and Seeking Refuge.
