3 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God this is your true and proper worship (Romans 12:1). Worship involves our whole bodies, that s why we stand for parts of it. As we gather for worship this morning, may we give God our whole selves as a living sacrifice of praise to the Triune God as we stand to sing, sit to listen, bow our heads to pray. Welcome to worship! This morning Pastor Michael continues with his Lenten series on Esther, For Such A Time As This. Today is the first part of Esther 2 The World Is A Mess and We Get Caught In It. Next week we will continue the series with the last verses of chapter 2 and chapter 3. Pastor Michael s sermon discussion class will take place in the sanctuary following the worship service, while the children and young people are in Sunday School. Everyone is welcome! The Construction Team for the 125 Campaign continues to have regular and productive meetings and we hope to have drawings ready for the bidding process in the next few weeks. If anyone is interested in seeing the latest set of plans, a few members of the team will be available in the Fireside Room after the worship service for you to take a look at them and answer your questions about the project. In addition, if you or any one you know in the trade industry would like to be considered for the bidding process, please contact Larry Kuperus so that we can make sure you are included. Thank you for your continued prayers and support for this project. The Administrative Team met this week and is looking for anyone who might be interested in serving with a small team of people to make plans to celebrate the 125 th Anniversary of Pease CRC next summer. If you have an interest in helping plan for this milestone event, please get in touch with Pastor Michael. Please pray for the Shepherding Team as they meet tomorrow night. We give thanks to God for these dedicated folks and the love and care they show for their groups!

4 The deacons gratefully acknowledge the following offering receipts from March 10, 2019: General Fund-$5,455 and the Milaca Area Pantry-$600. Your offering next Sunday, March 24, will be received for the 125 Campaign and on March 31 for Partners in Education at CCS. Our Church Family We rejoice with Alan Kragt following a successful hip replacement surgery last Monday. He is home and recovering well. Please continue to keep Elroy Hanenburg in your prayers as he remains in the St. Cloud Hospital. I would like to say thank you to all of you for your prayers, visits, food, concerns, and well wishes after my recent surgery. A special thank you to Pastor Michael for his encouraging words. God has given me much needed patience and healing the last few weeks. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. Sharry Kragt Join The Easter Choir! We could really use, at a minimum, another 10 volunteers. The rehearsals will be on Sunday mornings after church at 11:00 a.m. and begin today. If you are between the ages of 14 to 100, we would love to have you. Contact Barb Bekius with questions. See you there! RecJr will meet at church Wednesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. REC meet at Trinity Lutheran in Milaca for Snack Packing at 7:00. From Kay: The GOODWILL we show one another for funerals and fellowship is awesome! That means there are many dishes, bowls and Tupperware containers left behind... which I will eventually take to GOODWILL. Please, try and claim your stuff. It's too nice to take to the thrift store. Easter Flowers: The order form for spring potted flowers will be in your worship folder next Sunday. The flowers will be in church on Easter Sunday morning to beautify our sanctuary.

5 Gretchen Totzke is organizing our Safe Church policies. We need to update background studies for ALL people involved with ANY type of Children s or Youth Ministry. She has placed a request for information to complete the studies in the church mailboxes of those people. Please fill these requests out ASAP and return to Gretchen. If you should have received a request and did not, please let Gretchen know. Thank you! Community Christian School invites you to their upper grade spring play Hansel & Gretel. This event will be held on this Thursday, March 21 & Friday, March 22 at 7:00 pm at Bethel Church in Princeton. Please plan to come for a delightful evening and entertaining performance! Lent Family Faith Formation Tip: Lent is a time of self-examination. In your family time, ask some of these questions: Did I love people today like Jesus would love them? Did I do things I wish I hadn t done, or were there things I should have done that I didn t? Pray together about those things. (Faith Formation Ministries; crcna.org/faithformation) Safe Church Training: Rock of Life CRC in Willmar, MN invites all ministry leaders (church council, Youth Group, Children's Ministries, Nursery, and ministries for vulnerable adults) to a Safe Church Training Seminar this Saturday, March 23 from 8:30 am-12:00 pm. The purpose is to show us practical ways that we as a church can identify the signs and advocate for those who are victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Doors will open at 8:00 am for coffee and donuts. If you are able to attend please RSVP by calling Renae at or willmarcrc@gmail.com Community Christian School Auction & Dinner Game on! Come Friday, April 12, at Northern Lights Ballroom & Banquet Center in Pease for an incredible evening to benefit CCS. Don t strike out and miss this event!
