3 Sermon Notes Thank you for allowing our nursery staff to care for your little ones so the worship of others will not be distracted. Pagers are available. Children are invited to participate in the Children s Message. When they exit they may join the Little Lambs (age 3-5) or the Worship Center (K-2nd grade). At the close of the service, please call for your child. Both centers are located upstairs, the first hallway to the left. As a courtesy, please switch your cell phone & pagers off or to a silent mode. Hearing enhancers are available. Please ask an usher. The flow of the worship service is subject to change.

4 On this Easter Sunday we welcome all who worship the risen Lord Jesus with us. May our hearts be filled with thankfulness and love for him who was dead, but now is gloriously alive! As he lives, so may we live in dedication to him. Next Sunday morning we will have the privilege to witness the Public Professions of Faith of seven of our young people. They are: Luke Dillan, Saige Kragt, Christina Moorlag, Craig Santema, Molly Banks, Ellie Banks and Kaylee Rothanburg. Our worship service will be broadcast on WQPM-AM 1300 (Princeton) beginning this morning. Broadcasting will start at 9:30 a.m. when our church service begins and will continue until 10:45 a.m. This allows us to be broadcast live and will accommodate the entire length of our worship service. Your offering next Sunday, April 27, will be received for Partners in Education for Community Christian School. The Partners in Education (PIE) Program was established to give CCS friends, family and alumni an opportunity to give financial gifts to those families who desire Christian education, but have fallen on times of financial need. Our Church Family Bonnie Kaun will begin receiving chemotherapy treatments on April 29. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Myra Minks was discharged from the Elim Home on Friday and will continue her recovery at her home. Continue to pray for Clint & Sandy Vedders as they make decisions regarding a treatment of her cancer. Teunis Stob is recovering from pneumonia at the Milaca Elim Home Praise be to God for His wonderful healing! Thanks to the Peace Household, Pastor Michael and each of you for the prayers, beautiful cards, telephone calls, food and flowers. Your encouragement has blessed me through my surgery. 5 Your Household Facilitators thank you for coming and bringing treats to Elim and Country Meadows for the sing-along last week Sunday. It was great to have such a nice turn out and it was appreciated very much by the residents. Thank you for your orders for flowers to beautify our sanctuary today. You may pick them up after the worship service. Coffee Break Bible Study Group We thank you so much for your support and generosity in keeping our community violence free. Pearl s mission is to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence through direct services, prevention, and community awareness. Thank you so much for your gift of $988. The Staff of the Pearl Crisis Center Wednesday Morning Coffee will have a surprise host this week! 9:00 a.m. in the Fireside Room. Everyone is welcome! Kidz Club will meet on Wednesday. The Vander Plaat s family brings treats. Attention Youth This Wednesday, April 23, both youth groups will attend the Youth Rally at New Life Church in Princeton. The guest speaker is Heather Ruesch. This is for grades 7-12th. Please have your parents drop you off at New Life by 6:45 pm and it ends at 8:15 pm. Please stay updated with Youth Group activities via the Youth s Facebook page & also at our PCRC s website under youth. POP Women s Bible Study will meet this Thursday, 9:00 am in the Fireside Room. We continue our study of Living So That, Making Faith-Filled Choices in the Midst of A Messy Life by Wendy Blight. Call Bonnie Kvien: with questions. Community Christian School Volunteers - Where would we be without YOU?! It takes a sizable number of volunteers to help keep CCS running smoothly, from helping with lunch, remodeling, cleaning the property to providing support in and out of the classroom. You bless our school in ways that cannot be measured, and the staff and students at CCS want to thank you at our annual Volunteer Chapel on Friday, April 25, at 1:45 P.M. 6 Praying for our Local Ministries: This week we ask God s blessing on First Baptist Church and the ministry of Pastor Adrian Bolt. Applications for the Gerrit Kiel Memorial Endowment Scholarship and the CRC of Pease Scholarship are available in the church office. The Gerrit Kiel Memorial Scholarship is for qualifying seniors and/or returning college students who will attend Calvin College, Dordt College or Trinity College. The CRC of Pease Scholarship is available to graduating and/or returning students attending a Christian college of their choice. Applications are due next Sunday. If you have received a scholarship in the past, you do not have to fill out the entire form, but send a letter requesting consideration for a scholarship again this year.
