Look for the Scarlet Thread (April 20-July 13) Notice the sermon series image and the scarlet cord that weaves its way through it. Every Old Testament story points to the need for a savior, a deliverer. This deliverer is Jesus and the scarlet thread represents the shedding of his blood, tying the Old Testament to the New Testament. We are entering into the last quarter of our sermon series based on the Jesus Storybook Bible. When completed, our walk through the Bible will have taken us from the Creation in the Garden of Eden in Genesis to the new garden, the new earth, described in Revelation 21. We will end this year-long series with a Jesus Storybook Bible Celebration on Sunday, July 27. For this final part of our series, we ask that you commit to memory Colossians 1:15-19, for He (God) is before all things and in him all things hold together. Gathering Room Artist Artist Michael Harris vivid images capture the stories from the Jesus Storybook Bible from Advent to Easter with our series "Dying and Rising with Christ." At this point, Michael has illustrated 38 of the 44 images of our year-long series. Madison in Wyoming Update from Pastor Cisco We are meeting Tuesdays for discipleship training, Fridays and Sundays for worship, food and play, and plans to resume meeting Saturdays in late June. We are struggling financially and we cannot support a pastor. We are also struggling spiritually to go without so that others may have what they truly need. Despite these struggles, the blessings of seeing Jesus work through us as he walks with us far outweigh them. We see more neighbors and siblings coming to Jesus through the Wyoming Campus. We feel like part of a family, as we invite those who do not belong to fellowship. We call on Jesus when we cannot provide answers or resources.
