Wedum Residential Hospice, 9350 Noble Parkway N., Brooklyn Park, MN Missions: vfaith Promise Update: 38 people have promised $68,213 - an average of $155 per month. If another 34 individuals or families promised an average of $95 per month, we would reach our 2018 Goal of $107,500. vadopt a Missionary for a year - We have 9 selected so far, about one-third of the way towards our goal. Our goal is to foster stronger connections between individuals and missionaries for mutual prayer and encouragement. vglobal Avenues Ministries Freedom Bazaar - Open House, Monday, December 4th, 5:00pm-8:00pm. Contact Cheryl Seiffert for directions. vtim D. was in Costa Rica for the 10th anniversary of ProMETA. Pray for God s direction for possible new ministry partnerships; and for the development of the discipleship certificate program. In Minnesota, pray for the vision to increase outreach to Hispanic people. Praise for a recent outreach in Fairmont with an attendance of 60+ people. vsteve and Jane W. praise the Lord for His provision of Bibles and New Testaments in multiple languages for a mid-december outreach. Also praise for a new collaborator for Steve to make his Fish The Bible training more flexible. Now is a good time to pray for next summer s teams for the English Camps. Pray about your participation. vmark A. is encouraged by good connections to provide chaplaincy training in more departments and cities in Peru. vjoel and Angela are thankful for being able to combine medical trips for their son with their visa efforts. Pray for God s protection against spiritual warfare for all believers in their extended community. vrick and Denise K. are meeting with international student advisors from two universities. Pray for open doors. Praise for the opportunity to teach about church planting at a Perspectives class. Pray for acceptance of a proposed article for the magazine, Christianity Today. Mission Focus: Jon P. and Laura will be married in the Chicago area on January 6 with a Watertown EFC reception on January 20. They will be with us at Grace on January 28. Laura has been teaching English in Japan for 23 years. She loves working with children and serves three Japanese Free churches. Jon will continue his ministry with Tokyo Multicultural Church. Pray for a business man who has started attending worship services, after being involved with English Circle. He struggles to understand the gospel. Pray for his father who is suffering after a stroke. Pray also for a teen who is attending TMC to see who Jesus is. Pray for the friends who come with her.
