1 WELCOME GUESTS! We are glad you re here! Here are a few things we thought you would like to know to help you feel at home with us today. When we celebrate the Lord s Supper, we do so convinced that Jesus gives us His true body and blood for the forgiveness of our sins. Receiving the Lord s Supper expresses not only fellowship with the Lord, but also agreement with the teachings of this congregation. Communicant members of LC-MS congregations are always welcome to commune with us. All other guests are kindly asked to speak with the pastor before the service. Thank you for respecting our position of love when it comes to this delicate matter. The offering is an opportunity for our members to support the Lord s work at Trinity. As our guest, we ask only that you fill out the GUEST side of an attendance card and place that in the offering basket during this time. Restrooms are located in the large room adjacent to the sanctuary. Our ushers will be glad to point you in the proper direction. Hearing Assistance This facility is equipped with a hearing assistance system. Please ask an Usher for a receiver. Children are always welcome to worship with us. However, for your convenience, a nursery is 1 available for parents with children 3 years old and younger. It is located on the office level in the childcare room on the right. The nursery is staffed during the T3 hour (Trinity Time Together) & 10:45 am service. Parents may use this room during the 8:00 am service as well, being able to watch the service projected on the TV located in that room. In service to Christ, PASTOR CARL LEHENBAUER PASTOR JOSHUA RUSERT
2 Advent by Candlelight Our Sister in Christ We praise God for the baptism of Nga Mo on Sunday, October 23 at Chapel of the Cross. Nga Mo is the mother of Trinity students, Lee Reh (4 th grade) and Say Reh (3 rd grade). Meet Me at the Manger November 26, :30-8:30 PM Pictured left to right: Su Reh (translator), Nga Mo, and Pastor Zeuschner of Chapel of the Cross. Karenni Bible Presentation On October 23, six 3rd grade Trinity students from the Karenni community were presented with their own Bible. FEW MORE TABLE HOSTESSES NEEDED Currently 10 tables are being hosted for this year s Advent by Candlelight. Last year, we had 15 hostesses allowing us not to have to limit the number of attendees. Please let Lori Scheck know if you d be willing to host one of these tables as soon as possible. Hostess guidelines include: Hostesses provide place settings, holiday table decorations, & favors, for a table of 8 ladies as well as a dessert for the buffet table. Choose a friend to be a hostess with you to defray your overall cost, help you acquire pieces needed for your table, make a dessert or table favor. The registration fee of $10 is waived for all hostesses knowing you will be spending some of your own money to create your table, dessert, and favor. You may invite up to 2 friends of your choice for your table, leaving space for each of you as hostesses and 4 other guests who will sign up for your table. From Left to Right Soe Reh, Jennifer, Say Reh, and Pray Reh (Not pictured is Tue Reh and Htu Za Moe) It is a fun filled, inspirational evening, and requires only a few hours of your time for planning, baking and decorating. If you want to host a table this year (or need more information before committing), please call Lori Scheck at

7 SAVE THE DATES Monday Evenings January 30-March 27, :30 PM We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more! FPU classes meet for around an hour and a half each week for nine weeks. Trinity is once again offering Financial Peace University to its members and friends. This class will be led by Trinity member, Barry Humiston who took a Financial Peace University class years ago and has followed Dave s plans since. This class is for couples and single individuals who are interested in learning how to handle their money God s way. Cost of class is $50 for members, $100 for non-members. Cost is per couple or individual. More information along with sign up procedures will be shared in the weeks ahead. Trinity Lutheran Freistadt Church, School and Child Care W.
