2 UPCOMING EVENTS FALL FAMILY FAIR! Wow what a fair day we had & the weather really cooperated making it a great day. This was an amazing volunteer effort! So many people spend so much time before the fair to make the day happen. Cindy & I hope your take away from this is that you had a good time, you got to interact & make a stronger bond with fellow volunteers & got to see new & old friends on fair day. To acknowledge our largest sponsor, the Chateau Restaurant, we of course would like you to patronize their Restaurant. So please grab a card at church or cut & print the one below & give it to the hostess. Let her know what it is. 3 BCAT Show: Spiritually Speaking! Our church will be featured in the November episode of the series Spiritually Speaking. This purpose of the show is to teach people about all the different kinds of religions that are practiced in Burlington, and a different group is featured each month. The show is produced by Rabbi Susan Abramson and she chose our church for the November episode. Check your BCAT lineup! Join Rev. Angela Wells at True North Coffee Shop on Tuesdays 4-6pm and then again on Thursdays 9-11am. Drop by for coffee and conversation! COFFEE HOUR FOLLOWING WORSHIP To keep Coffee Hour vital and sustained for the coming year, coffee hosts are needed! Please contact Jane Raymond at to signup and be trained. 4 Even if you can t sing throughout the year, we d love to have you for Christmas! Put our Advent/Christmas rehearsals on your calendar Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, 14, and 21. We ll be singing for both Christmas Eve services this year. Junior Choir meets 5:45pm Adult Choir meets 7:15pm City Mission is collecting Sweatshirts and Sweaters for kids! Sweatshirts and Sweaters will be collected beginning November 1st! New items for infants through xl for teens are greatly appreciated. See the Bin at Coffee Hour. CRAFTING FOR A CAUSE C4C Wednesdays 1pm The C4C group will meet on Wednesday November 9th for a casual afternoon of knitting, chatting, enjoying each others company. NEXT Wednesday November 16th the group will sort and pack all the remaining crafts from the Fall Family Fair. Join us at 1pm.
