4 Discipling Growing in our Relationship with Jesus LIFE GROUPS Sign up today! Five new AMC Life Groups are starting in January. See the brochures and sign up cards in your mailbox for more information about each one. Sign up cards are due in the box in the foyer by December 30th. There are extra brochures and sign up cards on the table in the foyer as well. Leap into a Life Group in 2013! AMC SHIRTS Last Day for Ordering We are taking orders for shirts with the new AMC logo. There are several shirt styles (polotype, t-shirts, tie-dyed, etc.) and you can choose to have a Bible verse (John 3:16 or Phil. 4:13) on the back. Stop by the table in the foyer after worship today to take a look at the samples and to place your order. YOUTH WINTER RETREATS Time to Sign Up Winter retreats at camp Menno Haven are coming in January and those who plan to attend need to register this month. The Junior High School retreat is January and the High School retreat is the following weekend, January There is more information on the youth bulletin board. Please let Lamar know if you want to register for a retreat. 5 KEEPING UP WITH AMC Ed and Edna G. headed for Florida this week. Tom Glenn recently started a new job as Associate Director of Admissions at Eastern Illinois University. CHRISTMAS CARDS If you would like to share your Christmas card with the entire congregation you are welcome to post it on the Community Life bulletin board. BIRTHDAY THIS WEEK Wednesday Janet Gingerich NO ANNIVERSARIES THIS WEEK Community Life Our Relationships with Each Other POINSETTIAS Today is Last Day to Sign Up If you would like to purchase a white poinsettia in the memory of a loved one or to simply beautify the sanctuary for the holiday season you need to sign up today on the C.L. board. They are $12. Please put your check in the secretary s box. They can be taken home following worship on Dec. 23rd. CARE N SHARE This Friday The Care n Share Christmas supper is this Fri, Dec. 14th at 6:30pm at the Korner Kafe. Please sign-up on the C.L. Board and call Carol Yoder at with questions. HOMEBUILDERS This Friday PATHFINDERS CHRISTMAS Save the Date & Get a Sitter Homebuilders are going to the Alamo in Mattoon this Friday, Dec. 14th. Please be at the church at 5:15 pm to carpool or meet at the restaurant at 6 pm. Dessert will at DuWayne & Karen Millers Pathfinders will have a Christmas gathering on Thursday, December 27th. This will be a parents night out, so line up those babysitters! We will have more details as the date nears.

6 Outreach Our Relationships with the World CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS Thank You! We appreciate the great work that was done decorating AMC for Christmas! Kathy Yoder, Nancy Kuhns, Debby Kauffman and CJ Yoder we thank you for your time and talents! TOYS FOR TOTS Donations A toys for tots box has been placed in our foyer. If you would like to bless a local child with a toy this Christmas please put it in this box by next Sunday. The Arthur Fire Dept. will be distributing these in our community. ORANGES & GRAPEFRUIT Thank You The fruit arrived this week and you can pick up your order after the service today. We still have some small boxes available for purchase if anyone is interested. Thank you to everyone who purchased some fruit and helped support the youth group. Your generosity is much appreciated!
