Job Posting: PEP Aide Our Lady of Peace School We are currently seeking candidates to fill the part-time aide position in our Preschool Extension Program (PEP). The position includes caring for three and four-year old preschoolers during the school day. We are looking for someone to work afternoons from 11:30AM to 3:30PM, and also to substitute as needed in the morning. Applicants may apply through Our Lady of Peace School s main office. DAYS OF PRAYER The Annual DAYS OF PRAYER at the Carmelite Monastery, 510 East Gore Rd, Erie, begin Friday, July 11th, and continue through Wednesday, July 16th, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Fr. Greg Cleveland, OMV will be the preacher. Holy Mass each morning at 8:00AM will be offered for the intentions of all making the DAYS OF PRAYER. Services each evening, at 7:30PM, consist of Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and Sermon. Father will be available for the Sacrament of Penance after morning and evening Services, as well as afternoons upon request. 4 OUR LADY OF PEACE CHURCH The bridge over I-79 on West 38th Street will be closed for repairs. Contractors will replace the bridge deck, repair deteriorated concrete and build new sidewalks on the bridge. The project starts tomorrow, July 7th and is scheduled to be completed by the end of August The traffic will be detoured during construction. The bridge was originally built in The average daily traffic is about 13,000 vehicles. OLP Monthly Parish Project Day Saturday, July 19th The Knights of Columbus Parish Project Day for July will be on Saturday, July 19th, starting with Mass at 8:00AM, followed by a continental breakfast by the Rosary Society, and then project work from 9:00AM until noon.
