An instructional class is required for all parents & Godparents and will be held the 2 nd Wednesday of the month, at 8PM in the Church. Parents should call the rectory to arrange the celebration. Marriages: Reserve and register date & time as soon as possible, at least six months in advance of the wedding. Pre-Cana and other instructional sessions are required for all couples. Ministry to the Sick: Sick calls and Communion calls on the First Friday of the month. Please call the Rectory.

May 13th,2018 Seventh Sunday of Easter Parish Community News & Events Our Hall Roof has been repaired. The work on the Hall roof is completed. This major roof repair on the Hall cost $30,000.

All donations large and small are greatly appreciated. To date $19,016 has been donated. Thank you to those that have donated to the Hall Roof.

3 May 13th,2018 Seventh Sunday of Easter Parish Community News & Events Our Hall Roof has been repaired. The work on the Hall roof is completed. This major roof repair on the Hall cost $30,000. As this was an unbudgeted expense, donations are being requested to help pay for this roof. Please consider helping Saint Josaphat's pay for this major repair. All donations large and small are greatly appreciated. To date $19,016 has been donated. Thank you to those that have donated to the Hall Roof. Please place your donation in an envelope with your name and address (for tax purposes) on it and write Roof Repair so we can credit the correct account. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. 11th Annual Candlelight Procession honoring Our Lady of Fatima & Saint Padre Pio Monday, May 21st, :00 PM- Holy Mass 8:15 PM-Candlelight Procession through the streets with recitation of the Rosary. Celebrant- Bishop Frank J. Caggiano The relic of St. Padre Pio s Glove will be available for veneration. Society of St. Vincent de Paul Gives Back Thank you to the person that donated a vehicle to Saint Vincent DePaul in Saint Josaphat s name. Saint Josaphat s received a check for $100. For each car, truck or van, running or not. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will give back to our church $75/$200 per vehicle. The Right to Life Committee thanks St. Josaphat's parishioners for their continued support of The Bridge to Life, which provides pregnancy counseling to women to help them know the choices they have, and to provide them with physical, mental and material support. Parish Community News & Events Church Decorators/Ministers of Liturgical Environment-Oftentimes individuals find themselves assisting in the decoration and care of the Liturgical Space who are not aware of all the details that this service requires. This workshop is entailed to help Church Decorators/Ministers of Liturgical Environment familiarize themselves with some of the Church s guiding documents and principles, and through suggestions and exploring possibilities help them better understand their role and carry out their ministry. 4 Parish Community News & Events Pope Francis's encyclical Laudato Si Mini-Retreat Day Presenter: Sister Suzanne Gallagher, RSM Saturday, May 19, am to 1 pm Pope Francis's environmental encyclical, Laudato Si, dives into our present ecological crisis and gives us theological teaching. It provides rigorous sociological analysis, calls for dialogue, and suggests action steps. But most importantly, Laudato Si invites us into prayer. Inspired by Pope Francis the goal of this mini retreat is gratitude to God for our abundant blessings and especially for the blessings of Creation. We are invited to pause and reflect on how well we care for our common home, God's gift of creation to us. FREE WILL offering at the door. Refreshments will be served.
