ALL DAY ADORATION TIME CHANGE Our next All Day Adoration will be Monday, June 1st. Please note: Because of some gaps in our Adoration scheduling, the ending time of our All-Day Adoration is changed. It will start immediately following the 8:00 AM Mass as usual but it will end at 1:00 PM. We hope to renew our schedule soon and find enough of people interested in covering each of the adoration hours to extend it longer again. Instead of filling out an envelope, you may light them yourself. There are matchsticks and a money box attached to the wall. The price is $3.00. GABRIEL PROJECT BABIES The Gabriel Project is a Pro-Life movement offering parishbased pastoral care to women in a crisis pregnancy. It is our goal to help such women with all their practical needs, as well as offering them unconditional love in an apostolate of friendship throughout their pregnancy. BAPTISM PREPARATION CLASS SCHEDULED For all parents wanting to have their child baptized at either St. John s or St. Kateri, our next scheduled Baptism Preparation Class will be held on Sunday, June 7th from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in our Rectory Meeting Room. For more information, contact the parish office or Francine Swope in the diocesan Youth Ministry Office at or on the web at HEALING MASS AT THE CATHEDRAL There will be a Healing Mass at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament on Monday, June 1st at 7:00 PM. Fr. Bill Kiel from the Diocese of Greensburg will be the main celebrant. All are welcome, especially those in need of physical, emotional or spiritual healing and those who support and care for them as well. Music for the Mass will be led by the Cathedral Charismatic Prayer Group Music Ministry. The Mass is being presented by the Cathedral Charismatic Prayer Group. 4 MEMORIALS & DONATIONS We have received a donation in honor of Mrs. Michelle Davis and the 2 nd Grade First Communion Class from The Dello Stritto Family. We have received a donation from Angelo & Beverly Capparelle in memory of Doris Capparelle. We have also received additional donations to the Angel Fund in memory of Francis Plozner from the following: John & Trish Long and George & Theresa Polansky. These donations assist with the tuition of student(s) attending our school. Thank you to all of our benefactors and God bless your generosity to and support of our school. PRE-K REGISTRATON Please call the school office at if you have not registered for our Pre-K for next year. As the school year winds down, we are finalizing our class registrations for next year. We have limited openings available. LENTEN BOXES Thank you! Sr. Patti Rossi from the Diocesan Mission Office wants to thank St. John School students for their generous Lenten Box donations. Our students donated $ toward the Missionary Childhood Association Lenten Program. SCHOOL COUNCIL As their term comes to an end, we would like to thank Rita Russell, Frank Berkey and Valerie Watson for their service to St. John School as members of our School Council. We are so grateful for their donation of time and talent. ST. JOHN SCHOOL GRADUATES TO BE IN OLV MUSICAL! The musical, ANNIE JR. will be presented by Our Lady of Victory Middle School and 5 th grade students. It will be held on Friday, May 22 at 7:00 PM in the School Auditorium. The cost is $5.00 and tickets are available at the door. The 27 member cast features Hannah Langelaan as Little Orphan Annie and St. Johns School graduates Alyssa Packer as an orphan; Thomas McElhinney as Daddy Warbucks and Leland Calistri as Rooster Hannigan. 5 OLV BASEBALL BUS TRIP SCHEDULED Join the OLV Parish trip to the Pittsburgh Pirates. We will attend the Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Atlanta Braves Baseball Game on June 27 at 4:05 PM. We will leave the OLV Church Parking lot at 1:00 PM. The seats are Field Box seats in section 103 and are under cover. Total cost is $71 including ticket and bus.
