2 R_m_m\_ring th_ D_[^ Month of Nov_m\_r We are inviting parishioners to bring in a picture of loved ones to place on our Remembrance Table at the entrance of the Church (the picture must be no larger than 3 X 5 ). There will be the Book of Life on a stand near the display. We have listed all those buried from our parish in the book. We invite you to enter the name of your loved ones, who have died this year outside of our parish. Needed: Volunteers for 2 hrs of your time Do you want to do something that is satisfying, pleasing to God and of great service to your Christian seniors at Van Daele? Become a volunteer, to help make it possible for the elderly residents to celebrate a Mass at Van Daele. Your commitment is approx. 2 hours of your time a month. The only qualification required is your desire to help someone in need. You don t need special skills. All you need is a love of your neighbours. You can contact Betty Boissineau by November 21st. Such a small donation means so much to those who are less fortunate. There will be a container at the back of the church from now until the end of December marked C.W.L. Thank you in advance. Tues Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. is our Celebration of Life Mass for our sister Lucille Lemieux who passed away in May. Come out and help celebrate her life as Past President of the Catholic Women's League. The ladies will be making meat pies later in November. A date will be posted for selling. Our annual Christmas Party will take place on Dec. 11 in the Church Hall. As members of Life is Precious Ministry, we encourage you to answer the call of the late Archbishop Fulton Sheen, to spiritually adopt a child in the womb who is in danger of being aborted. To do this, give this baby a name and pray for him or her. There are slips at the entrance of the church on which to write the chosen name of your baby for whom you will be praying. Prayer cards are also available. A Mass will be celebrated for these babies in December. Fact: Since it s legalization in 1969, 4 million Canadian babies have died from elective abortions. Launched in Rome in September 2017 the Share the Journey campaign aims to create a culture of encounter by educa ng the public to the reali es of those forced to flee their homes and crea ng opportuni es for encounters between them and local communi es. Together lets walk in solidarity with forced migrants to make their voices heard loud and clear. Lets open our hearts to their sufferings and dreams and offer them our compassion. Beyond the chilling numbers (68.5 million worldwide), let us focus on the human face of forced migra on. To learn more about this campaign, visit devp.org. Every married couple who places God at the center of their conjugal life discovers with joy and amazement that their love is nourished every day and grows.
