Sluzhba Bozha as we say in Ukrainian means God serves us, He comes to us in the Gospel,He gathers us together, and He makes us sharers of his Divine Life..He renews us and fills us with his peace. During the, the Lord, by the Holy Spirit, changes not only bread into His flesh and wine into His blood but also changes us according to our needs. Is this not a mystery??? Wether your support was through preparing of the food Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; or through donations of pies; or through working tirelessly on Saturday with cooking, serving and cleaning; or through your prayers for our success THANK YOU! Our hard word netted approximately $ for the parish, a much needed amount to keep our St. Basil s family a warm, comfortable and blessed environment for all. It takes an entire parish, working together, to make these events successful and it truly warms my heart to see this exact thing happening at St. Basil s. 4 Have an appliance you won at a raffle and never used? Extra dishes, chairs, students desk that is in good shape, but you don t need it any more?... We are in urgent need of furniture such as dressers, any sets of end tables/coffee tables, set of dishes, pots, pans, glassware to furnish the residence for Father Ihor & family.
