So God pours God s love upon us, that we, too, may produce goodness and peace. We have been blessed with many gifts and talents. God desires that we use these gifts and talents for healing, peace, and hope. Come, let us worship and celebrate the mighty love and power of God. 5 Discovering who we are in service to the world Today is the 4th Sunday Bring it Are you Ready to run (or walk) Forward Offering! On the fourth Sunday of each month, our offering has a special focus on our partnership with James Island Outreach. Please bring your church offering forward and place it in the offering plates along with a nonperishable food donation, which can be placed in the specially marked baskets (our church is the canned pasta church). If you are unable to come forward, our ushers are available to come to you. for Niger? Help build a new elementary school in Niger, Africa by registering for the School Spirit Run for Niger on November 3 at 9 a.m. at James Island County Park: In addition to runners and walkers, there is a need for volunteers on Friday, November 2 and on race day. Our youth are also raising money to help. Contact Julie Frye to get involved in this year s race: jfrye@rememberniger.org. Gather with members of churches from across James Island to offer thanks to God on Sunday, November 18 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church (on the corner of Camp and Dills Bluff Road). This annual worship service honors the diverse traditions within our island community and works to bring unity while celebrating diversity. A special offering will be collected for James Island Outreach. Bring your nonperishable food and the whole family! JIPC Mission Fair Wednesday, Nov. 7 5:30-7:00 p.m. Join us for dinner and show your support for our local, national and international mission partners. CONSECRATION SUNDAY LUNCHEON Join us for lunch (catered by Amalfi s) immediately following the 11am worship service, as we celebrate Consecration Sunday! YOUTH RETREATS Sr. High Campout for Niger is November 2-3 at the JI County Park. This overnight camping trip is open to all youth in 9 th 12 th grades. Mid High Carowinds Winterfest is December 8.
