2 ASSEMBLE IN GOD S NAME WELCOME Reverend Sam Martin PRELUDE CALL TO WORSHIP Adapted from I Chronicles 16 O give thanks to the LORD, call on God s name make known His deeds among the peoples. We sing all praises to our God, We will tell of all God s wonderful works. Glory in God s holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. We seek the LORD and His strength, we will seek God s presence continually. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but the LORD made the heavens. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering, and come before Him. We worship the LORD in holy splendor; giving thanks to the LORD, for our God is good; for His steadfast love endures forever. *HYMN 36 For the Fruit of All Creation AR HYD Y NOS CONFESSION Gracious God, we confess with our lips that You are our Lord and Master, the Author of our days, the Source of all life, the One who hold our world together. And yet, we live our lives as if we were in control. We allow worry about trivial, earthly matters to consume our days and neglect the pursuit of Your kingdom and righteousness. Forgive us, Lord. Redirect our lives so that we might strive first for Your kingdom and righteousness, all the while trusting You to take care of our earthly needs. ASSURANCE OF PARDON *GLORIA PATRI 581 HEAR GOD S WORD GLORIA *OLD TESTAMENT (OT p. 490) Psalm 4 ANTHEM Be Still and Know That I Am God David Lantz III CHILDREN S TIME *GOSPEL (NT p. 6) Matthew 6:25-34 SERMON SQUIRELL Reverend Cameron Smith
