Since 1968, Wycliffe Canada has served minority language groups worldwide by fostering an understanding of God s Word through Bible translation, while nurturing literacy, education and stronger communities. Our team and our partners strive to create access to education for language groups around the world. We want marginalized groups, the poor and the overlooked to have a chance to know God s incredible love and escape poverty. Wycliffe Canada is changing lives by translating God s Word into the heart language of the people and communities we serve. Continue to pray for all our seniors, those who suffer illnesses, and those who are lonely or shut-in. May they feel God s presence in their lives and may He bring healing. BIRTHDAY BLESSINGS: Congratulations to Jaclyn Owusu who is celebrating her birthday today. Congratulations also to Harry Okkema and Michelle Guarasci who are celebrating their birthdays in this coming week. May God bless your celebrations. THANK-YOU: We would like to thank the church and the council for allowing and encouraging our family to use one week of education to attend Chalet Retreat Ministries in Tennessee. The ministry is geared to serve pastors and their families with rest, counseling and retreat. Our family was blessed by our time there. Pastor Josh, April, Kailyn, Jude and Lucas Installation of New Office Bearers: The Installation Service for new Office Bearers is today in the morning service. The new Elders are Matt Feddes and Jim Kraayenbrink and Deacons are Lucas DePooter and Mikki Meyer. Outgoing Council members are John Feddes, John Kraayenbrink, and Kurtis Lubbers. COUNCIL MEETS: Council meets this Monday, June 11 at 7 pm. LET S PLAY BALL: A day of baseball is being planned for next Saturday, June 16 th beginning at 9 am.
