2 FROM GEOFFREY'S DESK... In some ways, it seems hard to believe that another Thanksgiving Day is just one week away. And for one thing, that means another Thanksgiving meal at The Well. A number of you have volunteered to help with food, set-up, and serving, and I know you will bless many people with your efforts. As we have done for a number of years, we will be meeting at the Well NEXT Wednesday evening, November 21, at 6:30. During our time there, we will have a time of devotion and prayer, and then we will help get the room set up for the Thanksgiving Day meal that will be taking place the next day. I hope you will make plans to join us. As was announced this past Sunday, you gave more than $20,000 in our special Impact Sunday contribution for the work of World Bible School. Thank you so much for your generosity. Those dollars will convert into souls reached with the gospel of Christ. Finally, with Thanksgiving around the corner, that also means that Joanna and I will once again be hosting the annual Gift Exchange at our house. As usual, we are billing it as for Young Adults and the Young at Heart. You can decide where you fit in. The date will be Saturday, December 1, and the fun will begin at 6:30. Scroll down for more info. Mark your calendars, and plan on joining in on the fun. -gs-
