Church News Desserts for The Well - It's March and The Well needs desserts. If you can provide one, please leave it in the church kitchen labeled "For The Well." TC March Calendars - The Trenton Crossing March Calendars are now on the tables in the Worship Center. Medications for Honduras - We are now collecting medications for our mission trip to Honduras. We need vitamins (no gummies), Tylenol, and Advil for both adults and children. We have a collection bin in the Worship Center Christmas Project - This Christmas, our Youth Group will be providing shoe boxes filled with necessities to those in need. We need you to start saving your shoe boxes so we can fill them. Also, please save any travel-size toiletry items you encounter in your travels. We also want to include
4 hats, gloves, and scarves in the boxes - and those items are on sale now! If you see any and would like to help, please purchase them for our project. If you have any questions, see Chad Chapman or Julia Boyd. Cancer Support Group Meeting Tomorrow, Thursday, March 7 7pm A Cancer Support Group at TC will begin meeting tomorrow at 7pm in room G-102. This is for anyone - those with cancer, those who have had cancer, and those who have family or friends with cancer. If you need more information, please see Karen Bradley. Youth Area-Wide at TC THIS Sunday, March 10 6pm We are hosting the Youth Area-Wide this Sunday, March 10. Youth Groups from the area will be joining us for a time of devotion, fellowship, and food. Our guest speaker for the
5 evening will be David Skidmore. David is the Youth Minister at North Blvd. Church of Christ in Murfreesboro. Dorcas Ministry Meeting Thursday, March 14 6pm We will meet on Thursday, March 14, to make shorts for Honduras children and HHI. We need your help! This is a service ministry that also provides an opportunity for fellowship and learning new skills. You will need a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies. Fabric will be supplied. See or call Diana McArthur for more info. Memorial Service We extend our sympathy to Jim Holtin and the family of Alesha Waters. Alesha passed away last week. 6 Kincaid Reception Sunday, March :30pm We are hosting a reception on Sunday, March 17, to honor Terry and Sarah Kincaid for their many years of service. They will be leaving us soon to move to Alabama to be near family. Terry has served as an elder since He has also been a deacon, a teacher, and a friend to all of us. Sarah has worn more hats than anyone can imagine! She has been Nursery Department Supervisor, Ladies Ministry Leader, Wednesday Morning Ladies Class Leader, Assembly and Worship Team Member, teacher, and friend. Please join us as we thank them and offer them best wishes in their move. Special Wednesday Evening Class for All Ladies Purim and the Story of Esther Wednesday, March 20 Ladies, please come join in as we celebrate Purim and the story of Esther on Wednesday, March 20. This will take place during the Wednesday evening Bible study time. Come prepared to have some fun and celebrate God s providential deliverance of His people! We will start promptly at 6:30pm. Please be a little early so everything can be
7 ready and you won t miss anything! There is a sign-up list on the Sign-up Table in the Worship Center. Potluck & TC Kids Presentation Sunday, March 31 Join us for a Churchwide Potluck and Presentation Sunday, March 31, immediately following our morning worship assembly. Please bring enough food for your family and additional guests, and then stay to hear what our TC Elementary Kids have been learning the past few months! The children are excited to present their Scriptures and songs to you! Trenton Crossing Men's Ministry Retreat Our Men's Ministry aims to build relationships among the men in our congregation. A Men's Retreat is planned, April 6-7, at Lake Barkley. This is a time together for fellowship, food, encouragement, and relaxation. The cost will be based on the number of men who attend, and it will be in the $30-50 range. A signup sheet is on the Sign-Up Table in the Worship Center.
8 There are still many ways to get involved for our first annual Middle Tennessee Girls Conference. We will need help with set up, serving, and clean up. We also need donations for door prize items. There is a list of suggested items along with sign up lists for the event located on the information board by the teen rooms. Please contact Amanda Chapman with any questions. House Fire Donations Morgan Langley and Kelly Russell lost everything in an apartment fire. We are collecting items and gift cards (Walmart and Aldi are recommended) through Sunday, March 17, to help them replace lost items. We have a collection bin at the Welcome Center. Preschool Department New Safety Policy Beginning Sunday, March 10, we will be enacting a new
9 Sign In/Sign Out Policy in the Preschool Department. Parents are required to escort their child to their Sunday School class and to Wee Study. Siblings cannot drop off or pick up a child, nor can the child arrive alone. When you bring your child/children to their Preschool Sunday School Class and to Wee Study, you will be given a Security Bracelet with a numbered ID tag. Your child/children will have the same ID number on a sticker placed on their back. To pick up your child, you must present your ID tag to the teacher. We will not let your child leave with anyone who does not have the corresponding ID number. If you have any questions, please see Jill Compton or Jenny Muiznieks.
