7 Children s P: Do you not know that all of us who are baptized were baptized into Christ s death? All: We have been buried, dead with him, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

8 Children s P: For as we have been united with him in death, we will be united with him in resurrection. There is, therefore, now no condemnation! All: For God has done for us what rules and regulations never could! P: God has poured out the Holy Spirit onto us, giving life to our bodies and spirits just as the Spirit raised Christ from the dead. And so we give thanks!

9 Children s All: We give thanks to You, O God of creation, giver of life! You drew us out of the earth and breathed your life into us. Through your Word and water, you make us new and call us: to love one another and your whole creation, to set our hearts toward Christ, and to look with hope for the life of the world to come. Amen.

10 Children s P: Let us pray. God of mercy, All: We no longer look for Jesus among the dead, for he is alive and has become the Lord of life. Increase in our minds and hearts the risen life we share with Christ, and help us to grow as your people into the fullness of life with you, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. 30 Children s The day of resurrection! Earth, tell it out abroad: the Passover of gladness, the Passover of God. From death to life eternal, from sin s dominion free, our Christ has brought us over with hymns of victory.
