From all of your fellow Elks, thank you for your outstanding efforts. Also, many thanks to: those who participated in the talent show; Richard Frietas and his crew of cooks and servers; and the set-up crew headed by Brian Flemmer. On December 4 th we have our Elks Memorial, starting at 4:30 pm with dinner to follow by Karen Wells. On December 7 th our famous RIB KROUTERS dinner returns, prepared by Jeff Youngmark and his crew. Tickets are for sale in the office and at the bar. We are having our Children s Christmas Party on December 11th. Don and Bruce will be cooking a late afternoon dinner, and Santa plans to be present directly after dinner. Dinner will not be served on December 23rd, but come on down to enjoy Egg Nog Night. Bingo is cancelled on December 26th, but there will be a special Bingo night on December 31 st. If you have any questions, see Rod Battaglia. At this time I do not have a cook for December 30th. If anyone is interested, please let me know. Taco Tuesday on December 6th will be the same, but December 20 th is canceled. It s hard to believe that we will be celebrating a new year in just less than a month. Only 4 more months for me as your Exalted Ruler. It s not too early for planning the term. Who will be our next Exalted Ruler? And who will be on his or her Corps. of Officers team? Just something to think about. But, for now, I want to wish every single one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Live it up!! Until next month, Jack Lasserot, PER Exalted Ruler

Evidently there is a lot of interest because 80 players reserved their seats on the first night of sign-ups. This event will be limited to 140 players and be reserved seating only. We have an opportunity to put a lot of money in our charitable account with this event. I have the callers covered and the table workers covered. What I need from the lodge is 4 people to volunteer to work the floor. We are doing some special things that will require bodies...no experience necessary. You'll be home by 10:30. Please call me at if you can help. If you want to play, you must call me to reserve. Don't leave me high and dry on this. I'm waiting by the phone. Rod Battaglia
