There are a few minor details that still need to be accomplished. New dues cards where sent out and if you do not have a 2017 West Coast Lodge No. 409 dues card please contact the Secretary at the new Lodge phone number (941) I knew when I became the Worshipful Master all of these matters would take some time to accomplish, but to tell you the truth I did not think it would take this long. I know the Treselboard has not been going out routinely, that is because since the consolidation, both Lodge s circumscribe and Secretary portals have not been up to date. Brother Ray Rankl has volunteered to take on the task of managing the Treselboard and you will be receiving it every month from now on. We also have a Lodge Facebook page which is (westcoastlodge409) and a web page that is still under construction, so please be patient. We have a calling list that might be up to date and it might not, Brethren when a Committee man calls your residence please return the call, as this will do two things for the Lodge. #1, it tells us that we have the correct phone number and #2, that you are doing ok. Over 60% of the calls we make are not returned. Our line Officers are doing a outstanding job opening and closing the Lodge and our meetings are fun and educating, passing on the important information that the craft needs to hear. come on out to a stated meeting and see for yourself and join the friendship! We will be starting a new steak dinner night, it will start August 14, 2017, that is our first stated meeting of the month. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm, with the meeting at 7:30pm. The second stated meeting of the month will be the Junior Wardens menu (Family Dinner Night) starting at 6:30pm and the meeting at 7:30pm. I encourage you all to try and attend as this is a way to help support your Lodge. In closing, the Grand Masters Official Visit will be August 12, 2017 at the Potter building at Roberts s Arena on Fruitville Road in Sarasota. Check in starts at 5:00pm with the meal at 6:00pm. The Stated Meeting will be in the building right next to the Potter building with the wife s program in the Potter building. I encourage all members to attend. W Ken McCoy, PM Worship Master

The summer has been relentless with the heat and I am aware of the stress that it puts us all under to get out and lend a helping hand. Our work parties on the first Saturday of the month will present both opportunities to work on displaying our proud history working inside the Lodge, as well as a number of things on the outside. Please put it on your calendars for 9:00 AM on the first Saturday of each month. There I have received a lot of feed back about the Trestle Board i.e. Living and Past Master and Birthday missing. Please be patient and continue to inform us of missing items.
