2 Father Ken s Notes 2 SAINT MARGARET MARY PARISH IS DEBT FREE!! Father Ken is very proud to be able to report that our parish is debt free. From the span of time 2003 to 2012, 7.6 million dollars was spent on a complete makeover of our parish campus. On May 9, 2018, Father Ken hand-delivered the final check needed of $15, to complete to zero our loan from the diocese. Also on this same day, Father Ken hand-delivered a check for $25,000 to restart our savings account with the diocese. On Sunday, August 19, our parish will recognize this great accomplishment at a parish picnic being held at the VFW grounds here in Lower Burrell. The parish picnic will start with an outdoor Mass at 11:00 a.m and Bishop Malesic and Msgr. Gaston have both been invited and have both said 'yes' to their respective invitations. After the Mass, a ceremony will be conducted to highlight our debt-free status. Thank you God for blessing our parish the way you have. Father Ken!!
