The course contains the importance of study of History and the conditions required for a historian, sciences auxiliary in studying History; steps of preparing a historical research and learning about modern resources of types of instruments and the role of archiving all over the world; periodicals, references; fundamentals of selecting a topic for research, how to collect your material from sources and references, how to criticize implicitly and explicitly the historical sources and origins; be acquainted with the technical essentials of writing the text and the margin. Moreover, the practical aspect of the course should be taken into consideration through assigning student to prepare a research based on such technical essentials she studied and it is possible to allocate three lectures at end of the term to discuss such researches and then evaluating students and allocating a mark equal to 733 of the course final mark. The course contains historical topics selected from different sources including various historical periods starting from the old ages then the middle and Islamic and modern ages as well as different instruments from such ages including treaties and correspondences to analyze, criticize and comment on them. The course aims to make student acquainted with importance of the historical text with its 7

It is concerned with studying the Islamic Arab world countries with its national formations and geographical distributions, the destructive religious movements in the Islamic world and such awaking which advocates Islam and its sanctuaries; dangers which face the Islamic world represented in the European West and its means to undermine the Islamic religion pillars through the intellectual invasion of the Islamic countries. The course aims to: learn about the Islamic conquest of Maghreb and its objectives and efforts exerted by Muslims to spread Islam in such countries and establishment of independent principalities and factors of fall.
