11 Pentecost Celebration May 19 Pentecost Sunday at Athens First United in the city where they would be clothed Methodist is May 19. We will have tables with power from on high. 13 Senior Fun May 23 Our own member, Hank Huckaby, who is Chancellor of the University System of Georgia will be honored during Senior Fun on Thursday, May 23, at 12:30 p.m. Athens Mayor Denson and Oconee Commission Chairman Davis are issuing Hank Huckaby Day proclamations in both counties. Added bonus: Callie Waller will sing 3 Broadway songs and several editors will do a Q & A session with Hank in a Meet the Press format. We anticipate our largest attendance ever. Friends of Hank, those interested in higher education, and other interested church members are invited to attend. Numerous leaders from higher education, state government, and the larger church will be here to honor Hank. Please register now if interested.
