BRENDAN SCHOOL & PARISH GOLF TOURNAMENT Saturday, September 12 at Harbour Pointe Registration forms for individuals as well as foursomes are available in the, the Parish Office and the kiosk in the Narthex. Registration is also open online on the school s website. The cost for this event is $125 a player. This price includes entry into all events and contests, 18 holes of golf, riding cart, dinner and various awards. There will be a 1:30 shotgun start and golfing will be followed by an awards banquet in the clubhouse. Dinner tickets are also available for non-golfers to join in on the fun! All proceeds from the golf tournament benefit the Fr. Mike Schmitt Tuition Assistant Fund. 7 FOURTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME During this time, we celebrate the independence of our country. We would do well to echo the psalmist, saying, Our eyes are fixed on the Lord, pleading for His mercy. May we always recognize and use wisely the gifts of freedom and abundance He has showered upon us. GONE FISHING! It s vacation time! For some its fishing..for others golf, tennis or just a motor trip, any one of which changes the daily and weekly job routine. Have a good time. Keep yourself and family safe and healthy. Before you go, why not use your offering envelopes for those weeks that you ll be having fun-in-the-sun.
