Some of us need new life in our aching bodies, some of us need new life in our skeptical minds, and some of us need new life in our fearful hearts. Renew us, resurrect us, O God, as you resurrected Jesus. We want to be an Easter people with an Alleluia for our song. Amen. Invitation to Confession Words of Affirmation Love has conquered all hurt. Two hours of bowling, with a free will offering appreciated. You can play or just watch. Call Kate at with any questions. There won t be a dull moment to SPARE! Due to a number of recent resignations, the Pastoral Care Committee is in need of both men and women to visit with members of our church family. Thanks for many hours of caring to John and Jane, Shirley, Lee and Rev Maund. If you are mature, compassionate and a good listener - we could use your help a few hours every couple of months. Elf recruits and trains community volunteers for providing grade two students one-on-one support for practicing their literacy skills. We are preparing for our spring reading sessions already and can always use more volunteers. Grief therapy group meeting at Visions United for anyone struggling with grief. The UCW continues to collect: Postage stamps for Oxfam Canada. The border of the stamps should be trimmed to ¼. eye glasses for distribution to Third world countries. Milk bags for sleeping mats for Haiti (Hillcrest School). You may drop any of these items in the wooden box at the entrance of the Bessborough door. Thank you for helping with these endeavours. If anyone has an extra cane or umbrella they would like to donate to the church, we would like to have a few spares to leave in the entrance for anyone who may need to borrow them.
