7 Please remember to continue to bring non-perishable food items for the food bank the second week of each month. Thank you. The UCW continues to collect: Postage stamps for Oxfam Canada. The border of the stamps should be trimmed to ¼. eye glasses for distribution to Third world countries. Milk bags for sleeping mats for Haiti (Hillcrest School). Thank you for helping with these endeavours. We now have a transport wheelchair, rollator and walker in the church. These will be stored at the back of the sanctuary and are there should the need arise for anyone experiencing mobility issues during services or activities at the church. Community Notices: Advance care planning means thinking about your values and wishes for future health and personal care and sharing your wishes with others. It also means deciding who will speak for you if you can t speak for yourself. It s a way to give loved ones the confidence to make decisions for you during a difficult time. A session on advance care planning will be held on April 14 at 7pm at The Moncton Hospital, Theater A, by Dr Pam Mansfield. Yard Sale: Saturday, April 23, (8am-12pm) at St. Paul s UC, 404 Cleveland Ave. Riverview. Rain or Shine. Something for everyone! The Congregation of Central UC, 150 Queen St, invites you to join them on April 28 at 7pm as they celebrate becoming an Affirming Ministry. An Affirming Ministry is one which supports all people regardless of age, gender, race, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith or no faith, ability, ethnicity and socioeconomic circumstance. 8 Mountain View UC is holding their annual Dessert & Fashion Show on Friday, May 6 at 7:00pm. Fashions are from Mrs. Coats in Dieppe. Tickets are $12 and are available from the church office The Salisbury Farmers Market has reopened! It is every Saturday 8:30 am to Noon at 76 Smith St., Salisbury. Please note that the market will be closed Saturday, April 30 th because of the UCW s Ham Take-Out Dinner. Regular times will resume May 7 th. For your information these items can be dropped off at a collection box at the YMCA.
