She weighed 5.9 pounds and measured 17 long. God is good - all the time All the time - God is good!!! Deacon Board members are encouraged to come and pray before Sunday service. Contact Lynn Lindquist if interested. With Labor Day just around the corner, there has been much preparation going on to get ready for another GREAT year of Sunday School. We have been blessed again with so many faithful teachers returning. This year, we have an opening to allow new teachers to be blessed by sharing the love of Jesus with the 1 and 2 grade class. It works well for there to be two people (husband/wife, or two adults) in the classroom. If God is prompting you or you would like to visit more about this, please contact Brenda to apply. Classes begin September 9.

6 Pastor David Wold August 19, 2012 Daniel s Prayer of Confession Part 3 (Daniel 9:3-6) First, Daniel acknowledged the glory and majesty of God. He worshiped God for who He is. Don t approach God with your hands out; approach Him with your hands up in praise! Second, Daniel confessed his sins and the sins of the nation. #1 They had rebelled against God s expressed laws. Rebellion caused, among many other things, the destruction of Israel by Assyria in 722 B.C. and of Judah by Babylon in 605 B.C. #2 They refused to listen to God s prophets. Daniel indicts the kings, the princes, the fathers and all the people of the land. Civilization is always in danger when those who have never learned to obey are given the right to command.
