An All-Congregational Fellowship is planned for December 30 th following evening services. This replaces the usual New Year s gathering. We will have babysitting services, if you need them. Directory Change: We will truly miss Doug & Bobbi Guinn as they are moving to their home in Eustace. Doug has resigned as an elder after his many years of shepherding this congregation. We have been informed that Mackenzie Bell (daughter of Nathan & Alison Bell) and Lynnsee Plachy (granddaughter of Steve & Jackie Meadows) are able to say the Books of the New Testament (unassisted). We are thankful for their teachers for the 3-4 year old class, Llewelyn Hamilton and Janice Howell, as well as their parents and grandparents for their guidance and help. 2 Continued Prayers and encouragement for DORIS DOYLE needs our prayers as she deals with health issues and weakness. POLLY SAVAGE is scheduled to be released from rehab on Monday to return to Paul & Cindy s home in Rowlett. GENE JONES needs our prayers and encouragement as he continues to recovery from recent health issues. JOHN BURNS - Room 207 at Pleasant Valley Healthcare and Rehab (1525 Pleasant Valley Road, Garland, Tx 75040). TYLER MASON met with the cardiologist and will be scheduled for his 3 rd open heart surgery in March. He will also begin dialysis again on January 7. SHERRY HEIL has requested our prayers for her sister, PAM HARRIS. Pam has been diagnosed with breast cancer. JERA STEVENS is undergoing another series of chemotherapy treatments. They have 2 children 3 grand-children. Glenn has served as the pulpit minister of the Church of Christ at West Huntsville since He has been preaching since 1979 at various congregations in Tennessee, Virginia, and Alabama, and has done foreign mission work as well. He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University. Cindy is a Christian homemaker, wife, mom. She is a favorite speaker for ladies' days and retreats each year. She has also traveled to several mission sites with Glenn and assisted in teaching ladies and children. Glenn, Cindy and their children are active speakers and authors. Their books, DVDs, podcasts, blogs/articles and speaking schedule can be found at The Colley House website. Their biblical material covers subjects involving Christian parenting marriage, leadership, spiritual living, etc. Materials will be available at the marriage retreat.
