A nursery is available in the lower hall for infants and toddlers. Washrooms are also located in the lower hall. If you wish to have a cushion or hard of hearing headset, please speak to one of the ushers who will be happy to obtain these items for you. We invite you to complete one of the blue Visitor Cards in the pew rack and place it in the offering plate toward the end of the worship service. This will help us get to know you better! 10 Special Visit from Congolese Church Leader Dr Kakule Molo, president of CBCA, the Baptist Community of Central Africa, and CBM partner is visiting Western Canada with Gordon King. Last fall we raised funds for the work CBM & CBCA are doing in east Congo among refugees and victims of rape. Dr Molo will also be reporting on how these funds have been used. Come to hear firsthand about the political situation in the Congo and the life of the church in the Congo. This will be an informal evening of questions and conversation. Monday June 3rd, 7pm at First Baptist Church, Lower Hall For Prayer: An Update On East Congo Dr Molo's visit was in question as the rebel army, "M23", has once again taken up arms and has surrounded the city of Goma. This appears to be in response to the UN strengthening the mandate for its forces in the area, with the reinforcements from other African nations arriving any day. Goma is an important city in this region, full of internally displaced peoples and refugees. 9
