Baptism: Par ents must contact the Par ish Office at least 3 months pr i- or to the Baptism for complete guidelines. School of Religion: Religious Formation for youth Pre-K thru high school. CCD is held on Sundays at 9:00am during the school year. Marriage: Please contact the Pastor at least (6) months prior to your anticipated wedding date. Sick/Shut-In: Please inform the parish office when someone is sick, shut-in or hospitalized. 3 Church Security System: A security system has been added to the church building in an effort to the keep the Sanctuary secure at all times. On several occasions last month, the church building was left opened and unattended after the Parish Staff left for the day. Anyone with a key to the church building should contact the Parish Office immediately to receive continued access to the church and be added to the Security Clearance List. Parish Emergency Number: In an effor t to stay connected to the parishioners after the Parish Office is closed, we have added an After Hours Emergency line. This phone line was created to address the Pastoral and/or Sacramental needs of our parishioners; it is NOT a complaint line. The emergency number is (504) Youth Ministry Sign-Up: We are re-organizing the St. Gabriel Youth Ministry. All youth in the Parish ages 12 to 17 are encouraged to sign -up during the month of October. Sign-up sheets are available at the entrances of the church. The Youth Ministry will meet (1) Saturday a month to stay connected, discuss current events, do community service projects and various activities. For more information please see Mrs. Doris Banks or call the Parish Office at (504) Cancer Awareness Weekend: On the weekend of October 22-23, 2016 Father Tony will say a blessing over all those people in our parish family who have won the battle against any form of Cancer and those who are still in the fight against Cancer. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month everyone is encouraged to wear pink to mass that weekend We are accepting Candy Donations for the Trick or Treat Off The Street Trunk or Treat Celebration on Monday, October 31, The candy collected will be distributed to the kids of our Parish on Halloween Night. Please leave all candy donations in the back of church or bring them to the parish Office. We are in need of (15) adults to decorate the trunks of their vehicles and distribute candy to the kids of our Parish at our Trick or Treat Off The Street ~ Trunk or Treat Celebration on Halloween from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Prizes will be awarded to the adults with the (3) best decorated cars. Sign-up sheets are available at the entrances of the church.
