CONFESSION (Reconciliation): Saturday 3:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Sunday 10:00 a.m. 10:15 a.m. or any time by appointment. BAPTISM: Parents must call the parish office at least 3 months prior to the Baptism. Baptism is ordinarily celebrated on the second Sunday of the month. PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION (PSR): provides religious formation for youth Pre-K through high school. PSR meets Sunday mornings at 9 a.m., September thru May. MARRIAGE: As soon as a decision to marry is reached, an appointment should be arranged by the couple with the priest to begin the process of marriage preparation. This should be at least 1 year in advance of the anticipated wedding date. Reservations should not be made with a reception hall before setting the date and time of the wedding with the church. VISITATION OF THE SICK: Please inform the parish office when someone is sick, shut-in, or hospitalized, and unable to attend mass. FUNERAL: When a member of the family dies, please notify the priest as soon as possible, before making arrangements with the funeral home.

On Thanksgiving Day, two families, both with small children, came to St. Gabriel to seek assistance. You may have seen one family in the parking lot with all of their possessions loaded into their car. Neither family had anywhere to stay. Parishioners and the Helping Hands Ministry were able to provide aid and shelter, and get them settled for the weekend. These families had a critical need because many of the places that would normally be open to assist them were closed for the holiday. Without your generous stewardship donations and contributions to the poor box, this help would not have been available. Thank you St. Gabriel Bearers of Good News! 4 riminal District Court at 8:15a Retirement Fund for Religious Collection December 12 & 13 An individual writes, As a Catholic school student from grades K 12, I was formed to be the person I am by many religious brothers and sisters, and I am forever grateful. Show your appreciation for the senior Catholic sisters, brothers, and religious order priests who made a positive difference in so many lives. Please give generously to next week s collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious. Pictorial Directories The directories are available in the parish office during business hours. One book is available for free to each family group whose picture was taken by Life Touch. Directories are also available for purchase. A Child s Eyes at Christmas There is nothing as special as watching a child s eyes light up when he or she receives a special Christmas present. Our Giving Tree is up with all the little angel ornaments representing children in need. Please consider adopting one of these children for Christmas. Take the angel off the tree Record the angel s number and your name before you leave church, Hold on to the angel ornament to attach to your gift when you bring it back to Church; and, to keep the child and his or her family in prayer throughout the Advent and Christmas seasons. Purchase a gift for the child identified on the angel. Please do not give money as a gift.
