Although Christ is among us as our peace, we are a people divided against ourselves as we cling to the values of a broken world. We are called by God to respond to answer the living God: In every circumstance of life we face, We nurture among us the gifts of the Spirit and speak as prophets to our community proclaiming God s ways, God s love, God s peace. And in the journey we discover our true shared life: We, ourselves, are challenged by the message the Spirit gives us, we are led in new and surprising directions, taking steps that are both thrilling and frightening As we seek to listen and follow the living God. 6 This Week s Announcements Celebrate Lola Fryer s 20 Years of Service In Coffee Hour, Today, Sunday, June 3 rd Join us for coffee hour to celebrate Lola Fryer s 20 th year of service as Secretary at Fort Street. They also need men s extra-large dress shirts (size 18 and up). Meditation Mondays: Yoga at Fort Street! The Community Fellowship Committee is hosting yoga classes at Fort Street in the Great Hall on Monday evenings at 5:00pm.
