4 HIGHLIGHTS Law Enforcement Appreciation Day February 22 10:30 a.m. In light of the recent national discourse on law enforcement, on Sunday, February 22, our pastor will honor these men and women for their commitment and service to our communities. We have extended an invitation to all the members of the law enforcement agencies in the greater Los Angeles area to attend our 10:30 a.m. service, followed by a special lunch held in their honor on our campus. Please be in prayer for our church as we attempt to demonstrate to unbelievers that the Bible teaches us to be subject to governing authorities because all civil authority is ordained by God. Pray for growth in her new life in Christ. Pray for the optic nerve in Marty s right eye, which developed a complication after cataract surgery, and for our ongoing witness to the Jewish people. Downtown Jail Ministry So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17 Every week this ministry visits the men incarcerated at Men s Central Jail in Downtown Los Angeles. Men s Central is a high-security jail with inmates who are there on a long-term basis. There are wonderful opportunities to preach the gospel to those who have experienced very tangible consequences of their sin. For more information about serving in this ministry, call
