FROM THE PARISH COUNCIL In 1994 Pope John Paul II requested the faithful to take up again the praying of the Prayer to St. Michael in the battle of our times "against the forces of darkness and against the spirit of this world." It has been discussed and approved by the Parish Council that All Souls, beginning in June, will reinstate the recitation of this prayer after the final blessing and before the procession, at each mass. The prayer can be found on the back of your Today s Missal & can be easily memorized and prayed often in our personal prayer as well as after Mass. Prayer to St. Michael St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into Hell Satan, and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen
