3 LENTEN PRAYER TABLE During Lent, the Liturgy Committee is encouraging families to read the Bible together at home. Each week we will distribute items for Lent that will include readings, discussion questions, and an object for reflection. These can be found in the vestibule. Last week you received a purple cloth, readings, and reflection questions. Please place the purple cloth on your Lenten Prayer Table. This week, please take a mirror and place it on the purple cloth. When you look in a mirror, remember you are a child of God & He loves YOU! The readings for this week are Psalms 51 & 139. Which Psalm did you like best? Psalms are filled with readings regarding feelings. Reflection: How do you share your feelings with God? How do you feel when you share you prayers with God? Have a blessed week! 7:30 A.M. SUNDAY MASS CHANGE Prudence dictates that the parish return to the days of quiet Sunday 7:30 am Mass, as was the practice prior to Father Bob Burkemper coming here. Rose Marie Koerner has been a beautiful musical addition to our early Sunday Masses. She will maintain her busy schedule as our 4:30 pm Vigil Mass organist and as our funeral Mass organist here at All Souls. ST. Fast means 1 full meal a day, with 2 smaller meals; nothing between meals (liquids permitted) ALL FRIDAYS in Lent are days of abstinence from meat. No Catholic will lightly excuse themselves from this obligation.
