SUNDAY FLOWERS Both bouquets at the Main Altar were donated in memory of Theresa J. and William J. Englerth, Jr. requested by the family. MONDAY ROSARY The next Monday Rosary will be held tomorrow, Monday, July 23 rd at 7:00 p.m. to pray the Luminous Mysteries. All are welcome to join in the prayer. The Rosary is also recited at 4:30 p.m. on all Saturday evenings before the Vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Everyone is invited to join in the all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which is offered on the last Monday of each month. Our next Eucharistic Adoration will be held on Monday, July 30 th. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed after the 7:00 a.m. Mass and will remain exposed for adoration until 7:30 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed in common at 7:00 p.m. followed by the St. Jude Novena and Benediction at 7:30 p.m. Come and spend some time before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament! PRAY FOR OUR MILITARY! PAINTING WITH A TWIST All are welcome to join in the fun on Sunday, September 30 th from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. If you can fingerpaint you will have fun at this social!!! 4 THE ASSUMPTION OF BVM The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 15 th with a Mass at 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Catholics are required to join in Eucharistic Worship for this special feast. The mystery of this day reminds us that Mary, because of her special role in the work of salvation, was assumed, body and soul, into the glories of heaven. PRE-JORDAN Parents and godparents presenting a child for Baptism need to attend a preparation class in order to be properly informed about the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism. The next class will be held on Thursday, September 6 th at 6:00 p.m. in the last classroom in the parish hall. Registration is a must. VINCENT DE PAUL In this Sunday s Gospel, Jesus tells his disciples to Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while. Vincent de Paul, a great man of action was also a contemplative. His contemplation of God s love overflowed into practical love for the poor.
