3 PARISH NEWS ANOINTING OF THE SICK The Holy Name Society is sponsoring the annual Anointing of the Sick next Sunday, March 3 rd after the 10:45 a.m. Mass. Any member of the parish facing illness is welcome to celebrate in this wonderful Sacrament. The Holy Name Society will be providing the music. FIRST PENANCE The Sacrament of First Penance will be held next Saturday, March 2 nd at 10:00 a.m. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Everyone is invited to join in the all-day Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which is offered on the last Monday of each month. Our next Eucharistic Adoration will be held tomorrow, Monday, February 25 th from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Come and spend some time before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament! ROSARY CAFE Rosary Café will be serving coffee, tea and conversation on Sunday, March 17 th from 9:00 to 12:00 p.m. in the parish hall. PASTA DINNER The Sodality will host a Pasta Dinner this Wednesday, February 27 th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children. SERVICE FOR OUR LORD Registration forms for new Altar Servers are available on the bulletin boards at the church entranceways. Any parish children (4 th grade or above) who would like to offer their service to God and our parish in this special ministry is invited to take one of the forms, fill in the necessary information and return it to Father Brennan no later than March 15 th. PRE-JORDAN Parents and godparents presenting a child for Baptism need to attend a preparation class in order to be properly informed about the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism. The next class will be held on Thursday, March 7 th at 6:00 p.m. in the last classroom in the parish hall. Registration is a must. PLEASE register in advance by calling Mrs. Coxson at Please do not assume any date for baptism before confirming the date with Father Brennan. Before any date can be finalized, all forms and eligibility letters need to be delivered to the rectory

4 LAST DAY The last day to place an order for the Crab Cake Sale is today, Sunday, February 24 th. Pick up is next Saturday, March 2 nd from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the church hall. Capt n Chucky s Crab Cake Company is supplying the crab cakes, crab critters and Maryland Crab soup. Order forms are available on the entrance tables in church or on page four of this bulletin. Don t miss out they are delicious! And, just in time for Lent! TEEN ASH WEDNESDAY Ash Wednesday, March 6 th will begin the Lenten Season. Mass will be held at 7:00 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 a.m. during Lent on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Mass will be celebrated at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Fridays. Stations of the Cross will follow after the 6:00 p.m. Mass on Fridays. FYI Rev. GRIEVING THE DEATH OF A LOVED ONE Where ever you are on your journey of grief, you don t have to travel alone. All Our Lady of the Rosary parishioners are invited to take part in our upcoming grief support program. This six-week program, led by OLR Bereavement Ministry Team aims to help participants feel a renewed sense of hope and healing in God s loving guidance. The sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the church hall beginning March 12 th and ending April 23 rd. Please register with Sandra Hould at or Jhould@ccil.org. SODALITY Sodality membership dues for this year are now payable. Dues are $5 per year. Please send your payment to Dorothy Ruscio or drop in the Sunday collection basket. DEVOTIONS The next Monday Rosary will be held on Monday, March 4 th at 6:00 p.m. to pray the Joyful Mysteries. SAVE THE DATE The Sodality will be hosting Mary s Tea on Sunday, April 28 th at noon in the parish hall. It is a day for all women to honor our Blessed Mother. Tea sandwiches, salad, desserts and, of course, tea will be served amid prayer and music. We are encouraging participants to wear spring or summer hats as well as bringing your own tea cup. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for girls under the age of twelve. Keep your eyes on the bulletin for the date of ticket sales.
